Oh great ancient ones, great ancestors, we call to you. May you hear the voices of your descendants traversing through time and space. We humbly ask for your support, your wise medicine ways and your genius solutions in these times. Dear ancestors, we wish to partner with you for we know we cannot do this alone. As we traverse the mystery we ask that you, our starry ancestors are with us each breath of the way. May we have clarity of mind and Crystaline vision to see through the dark. May we walk our paths of high holy truth as that is what is needed now more than ever. And so it is.

Thoth speaks, Tahuti, Dhejuty, the divine author, the place taker of Ra, the heart of Ra, the ball of justice, Tahuti who we can see in his beautiful Ibis form, the head of the ibis, the body of the Man shifting into the baboon, god of wisdom, medicine, science, god of the moon, Ra's messenger among humanity. He who created the alphabet and hieroglyphs, all forms of writing and mathematics astronomy, he recorded the verdict of the judgment of the souls in the underworld. Tahuti is very much connected to Ra. Ra, the god of the sun, the God of all of creation, as given through the Egyptian cosmology. "I am Thoth, the eldest son of Ra, whom Atum has fashioned created from Khrepi. I descend to Earth with the secrets of what belongs to the horizon."

Tahuti essentially came into the world burying secrets, burying mystery, and we are at an essential culmination point of mysteries intertwining. As we come to circle up within this episode 98 of stars, stones and stories, we are waxing from the 16th of August, Leo New Moon conjunct Venus retrograde at the midpoint of her retrograde journey and I'd like to refresh your memory that as Venus stationed retrograde on the 22nd of July Mary Magdalene 's feast day, Venus station retrograde at 29 degrees Leo in the heart of the lion conjunct Regulus.

We are in a very unique journey each one of us individually and as we weave together in this collective of humanity, there is a beautiful experience here, laid out before your very eyes. And as life on Earth tends to go, while some of us are celebrating, unfortunately, some of us are suffering. And there are many people who are very challenged at this time in their lives, particularly through natural disasters, human inflicted disasters, through regimes and military excavations of the soul. And as we trace the story of humanity, it seems that this is how things have gone for millennia. And yet, I know that many of us have come to earth in this incarnation to build a new earth, a new consciousness to lay the template, the foundation for new reality that we can all collectively embrace one that truly is about the creativity, the creation, Soul potential of all beings. And so we're here in the sacred dance at such an imperative time and our collective story with the greater emergence of artificial intelligence and our greater dependence or so it seems upon the realm of technology, however, we must continue to align ourselves with this ancient technology, these ancient technologies that come from indigenous wisdom cultures all around the world, ultimately originating within the beautiful motherland of Africa.

And these African technologies are here to remind us of our infinite potential before anything was ever electronic, so to speak. This concept of African technology is something that I personally was so blessed to experience through one of my mentors, elder Malidoma Some, who was born and raised in the realm of Burkina Faso, West Africa, and being able to sit with him in sacred circles and hear from him and learn from him in an intimate fashion was truly, truly a miracle. When I look back on those times, from 2018, through 2021, it was short, but so deeply sweet and nourishing for my soul, and continues to bless my life, my relationship with this man and I know many of us who had the privilege and the honor of studying with him in an intimate fashion are so deeply touched by his medicine ways. And many of you who have not even met him are touched by his medicine ways, and if you've not read his books, or listen to him speak, I highly suggest you do so. In fact, on my YouTube channel, I have a series dedicated to him where I found all the things I could on YouTube of him speaking and on, there's a playlist there and you can just run through it. It's hours and hours of beautiful content, very inspiring. And as we're waxing from this Leo new moon, we're at a time where you are being called, you're being beckoned to step into your Aquarian leadership as that royal noble, radiant shining one, as the archetype of Leo reminds us as this New Moon conjunct Venus retrograde at 18 degrees 39 arc minutes and also Black Moon Lilith at 24 degrees seven arc minutes with the sun and moon meeting up at 23 degrees 17 arc minutes Leo, we have this emergence as we're coming out of the realm of the Lionsgate frequency and a brand new Venus star cycle, so to speak, a new birthing of what we will experience in the next eight years we're at such a beautiful time of inner resourcing and inner riches. And I hope and I pray that in this Venus retrograde you have taken time for yourself that you are taking time for yourself. And if you have not yet done so there's still time, Venus will continue to be retrograde until the third of September. And this is a very essential moment of pause and reflection and recalibration. Because each one of us we are on our own Hero's Journey, our own heroines journey and there is a moment here with this Venus retrograde to resource yourself, to redefine yourself, to reach instruct who you are. Because when you look back there has been so much that has transformed from you and fallen away from your life. There's so much that has changed and it's important to honor that and Venus is working side by side with you. And at this point we are closing out Leo season and on the 23rd of August we welcome the sun shifting into the sign of virgo in the season of Llammass. We really welcome the goddess of the grain, the earth mother, she who provides for all of us. And on that day Mercury stations retrograde. So we've been in the shadow of mercury retrograde and at 4pm Eastern Daylight Time mercury will station at 21 degrees 51 arc minutes Virgo going all the way back to eight degrees Virgo where Mercury will shift to react on the 15th of September.

However, it's really important to know that as we enter into the month of September, we have both Venus and Mercury Retrograde so much of September is very similar to August and July where there's a lot being reconfigured. And it's a really essential time for you to repurpose yourself, to repurpose the ways you've been doing your work. You've been living your life you've been focused on your passions, or perhaps you haven't and we are all being given an opportunity to harness this moment of recalibration and allow it to work for us. As when we come to the end of September, we will have a surge of forward momentum and then that ride will bring us into the eclipse season through very powerful waves. So I cannot emphasize this enough how if you can harness this time now you will benefit from a 10 fold 20 fold moving forward. And this is why throughout the summer, these episodes of Stars, stones and stories have been coming every other week since I returned from Kemet at the end of June. And it is why my Venusian Love Notes have been coming every other week, I have really taken a pause and it's something that I sat with. And I was like oh my goodness, for the last nine years I have just been creating, creating creating nonstop and it's been amazing and I love creating. I am an artist first and foremost. I mean, I really consider everything I offer into the world as my art.

And you may not know this about me. But when I was in undergraduate school, getting my bachelor's degree, I was heavily focused in studio art and I was painting and drawing and sculpting with clay and building installation pieces that people could interact with. And that was really where professionally I thought it was going in the world. And I'm still there in many capacities because even though I do not place my work in a gallery, which I never really loved the gallery scene, the art scene. It felt unattainable for many people, it felt something that just a little too highbrow in the sense that I really liked to make art for the people with the people and in many ways that's what these sacred pilgrimages are that I offer. They are ceremonial, artistic ritual offerings to the earth in love for nature and humanity and what it means to be human at this turning of the tide that we're all here for.

So as Mercury stations Retrograde, you are being called to devote your life to the greater good on some level to ask yourself what is your sacred offering to the earth and to humanity at this time, and as we consider the archetype of mercury. For me, I always resource back to Thoth, to Tahuti, this beautiful being that brought us astrology and astronomy and hieroglyphs and our ability to write and that gifted us the realm of science and mathematics and our deep understanding of the phases of the moon and transformation. It is said that Thoth was Ra's assistant and "as much as I shall act so that the light may shine in the underworld. You shall scribe there and keep an order those who reside there and those who may perform deeds of rebellion against me, you shall be in my place. That's you shall be called Thoth, the place taker of Ra." And so we can see Tahuti as literally the heart of Ra. Ra source of wisdom for us here on Earth, Tahuti as this intermediary, this psycho pomp and when Mercury stations Retrograde, Mercury is going into the realm of the psychopomp, just as Venus is in the realm of the psychopomp. And so there's this liminal state of consciousness that is being opened up in this mercury retrograde and as Venus herself has been retrograde since the 22nd of July, and in her front and shadow since the 19th of June, and this entire summer for those of us who live in the northern hemisphere, and in our brothers and sisters in the southern hemisphere this winter.

This period of the summer, which generally we see as this time of great outward expression and manifestation and where we're really social. However, this year, it's had a very different flavor, we've been asked to go deep with that. And we've been asked to really do the inner spiral into our own hearts and into our own minds and our own psyches. And Tahuti is here to assist you in this Mercury Retrograde to go in even deeper, and I think of the beautiful ammonite shell and that spirals naturally, that reminds us of this subtle ability, we know that seeing those with the eyes to see and the ears to hear what that is really speaking to is those that can read between the lines, that can see beyond the beyond, and those that can hear through the inner spaces, a subtlety, a subtlety that we're all awakening to in this Aquarian Age, every human is becoming more subtle. Every human is becoming more intuitive. Every human has this ability, you have this ability, however, we must harness it, we must take the gift and learn how to activate it and work with it.

And so I actually love Retrogrades, particularly Mercury and Venus Retrogrades because they offer us a collective time to pause, to slow down and to go deeper within. And I encourage you to utilize this Mercury Retrograde to your benefit, just as Ra gave Thoth the moon to balance his sun, what in turn will you do with this beautiful luscious time that is opening up before you?

And as we get to the 24th of August, we wax to that first quarter moon and the first quarter moon is always a time of tension and growth. And so between now and the 24th if you've not already done some sort of Leo New Moon Ritual, I highly, highly encourage you to do something very deep and personal. Whatever you're guided to trust your intuition, it will be exactly as it needs to be. And I highly encourage you to do this in your own unique way because Leo is representing our innocence and our connection to our inner child and our ability to play and to be in joy and to be in radiance. And for so many of us there's parts of ourselves that we inherently stifled or shut down or suppressed or turned off quite often in early childhood due to some form of trauma. And it was our way of coping. And there is an ability in this Venus retrograde and this Mercury Retrograde to call back those parts of yourself that you've let go of that you turned off that you shunned on some level. They are welcome to come back in this time if you are called to do that deep healing work.

And as we begin to close out the month of August we have Mars shifting into the sign of Libra which is always a bit of a challenging time collectively because Mars in Libra is not in its flow, so to speak. It is actually kind of held back by being too mental and suppressed. So we want to be patient with others when we're interacting with others, it's really important to give grace and give compassion. Because if you're listening to this podcast, you have an advantage, you know about some of this astrology and you know how deep it is. And that when you're interacting with someone, they're probably going through their own very unique, deep process. So how can you give some grace to them and honor that, especially because they may not even know what's going on collectively.

And also, as we close out the month, we have Uranus shifting retrograde in Taurus, which will give us all an opportunity to reflect on some of the radical changes. And all month along we've been since July really hanging out in this square with Uranus and Venus. And it's an intense moment. And it is part of the reason why we're seeing so many collective challenges. And there will be more Uranean energy is very shocking and unpredictable.

And so I close with encouraging you, first and foremost, to take care of your nervous system, take care of yourself, we are coming into the eclipse season in October. And so work with these Retrogrades allow yourself to connect with your own hidden wisdom and your own magic, there's so much available for you at this time. However, you may only access it by diving deep into your inner riches. And may you do so with ease and grace, and in devotion to the beauty way. And so with that we give thanks. We give thanks to the east, and the South and the West, in the north. We give our gratitude to Mother Earth and all beings seen and unseen, that support our days, we give gratitude to all of the beautiful starry ancestors that are above us and surrounding us and that lived through us, through the ages. We give gratitude to this evolving cosmic wisdom that we're a part of in this lifetime, and for so many infinite lifetimes. And we give gratitude for all of the beautiful abundance and the riches we have in our lives as we give that gratitude and as we give this things that opens the doors of our hearts, the petals of our beautiful flowering hearts so that we may create more beauty and receive and experience more beauty on this planet. And so as the outer world appears to be speeding up and going faster and faster and faster, the antidote is for you to slow down and to go deeper and deeper within. And as we do this, each one of us as a hologram for the collective we really anchor that New Earth consciousness something that we can be proud of that we can pass on to our descendants in a good way. May you be blessed. May we all be blessed, may our connection with the natural world and the Neteru stay strong for all of our days to come. And so it is, so it is, so it is. Ashe.
